Terms of service
Effective 11 September 2026 · botmust.com
These terms are the agreement between you and [your registered company name] for the use of Botmust. Using the service means accepting them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind it.
1. What the service is
Botmust reads the Facebook Ads and Google Ads accounts you connect, reports on them, recommends changes, and — where you grant permission and approve each change — applies those changes to the connected account.
The service is provided on an ongoing basis and may change as features are added or retired. If something you rely on is being removed, you will be told before it goes.
2. Your account
- Give accurate details and keep them current.
- Keep your password and any linked sign-in accounts secure. What happens under your login is your responsibility.
- Tell us promptly at [your contact email] if you think someone else has access.
- You must be at least 16, and old enough to enter a contract where you live.
- Do not share one login between people. Extra seats exist for that.
3. Plans and payment
- Every new account gets a free trial of the full product. No card is required to start it.
- Paid plans renew automatically — monthly or annually, whichever you chose — until cancelled.
- Prices exclude any tax that applies where you are.
- Cancel at any time from the plans screen. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for; there is no partial refund for time not used, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
- Changing plan mid-period is prorated.
- Price changes are notified at least 30 days ahead and apply from your next renewal.
- If payment fails, access to paid features may be suspended. Your data stays where it is and your reporting remains readable.
The cost of the advertising itself is billed to you by Meta and Google directly. Botmust never charges for media spend, and never holds your ad budget.
4. Connecting ad accounts
- You confirm you are authorised to connect each account and to act on it.
- Connections are read-only unless you explicitly grant change permission.
- You can revoke access from Meta or Google, or disconnect here, at any time.
- Disconnecting removes Botmust’s copy of your data and does nothing to your ad account. No campaign is paused, archived or deleted, and no budget is altered.
- Access is used only for the features described in these terms and the privacy policy.
5. Changes made to your ad accounts
This clause matters more than the rest, because it is the one about money.
- Nothing is changed automatically. Every change is proposed, shown to you with the current value and the new one, and applied only when you confirm that specific change. There is no autopilot and no scheduled applier.
- You are responsible for what you approve. Review each proposal before confirming.
- Every change is recorded — the old value, the new value, the reason, the time, and whether the platform accepted it — and can be undone from the change log.
- Safety limits apply: no single step may move a budget by more than 60%, and a daily budget cannot be set to zero. These reduce the damage a mistake can do; they do not eliminate it.
- The only changes Botmust can make are a daily budget, a status (pause or resume) and a bid cap, one object at a time. It cannot create, delete or archive anything, and cannot alter targeting, audiences, creative or copy — those capabilities do not exist in the software.
- Approving a budget increase means agreeing to the additional advertising spend that follows. [your registered company name] is not liable for media spend resulting from a change you approved.
- Platforms can reject, delay or independently alter a change. A confirmation in Botmust is not a guarantee the platform applied it; the change log records what the platform actually said.
6. Recommendations are advice
Botmust produces recommendations from your own figures using published buying thresholds and, optionally, an BMX model. They are informed suggestions, not guarantees.
- No particular result, cost per lead, return on ad spend or revenue is promised.
- Advertising results depend on your offer, your market, your competitors, seasonality and platform changes — none of which are within our control.
- Every recommendation shows the figure behind it and a confidence level so you can judge it. You are expected to.
- Nothing here is legal, financial, tax or investment advice.
7. BMX features
- The built-in advisor is deterministic and runs on this server.
- The BMX engines are optional, off by default, and use your own API key with the provider you choose. Your relationship for that processing is with them, under their terms and pricing.
- What is sent is listed in the privacy policy. No lead names, emails, phone numbers or message content leave the server.
- Model output can be wrong. Check any figure it quotes against the tables on the page before acting.
- If a model call fails, the built-in rules are used instead and the page says so.
8. Your data
- Your data stays yours. Connecting an account grants a licence to process it to provide the service, nothing more.
- Export it whenever you like — every screen exports, and Settings exports in bulk.
- Delete it whenever you like, in part or entirely.
- You are responsible for having the right to hold the personal data of the leads your ads collect, and for your own privacy notice at the point you collect them.
9. Acceptable use
Do not:
- connect an ad account you are not authorised to act on;
- use the service for anything unlawful, or for advertising prohibited by Meta or Google;
- attempt to breach, overload, reverse engineer or circumvent access controls;
- resell or white-label the service without written agreement;
- use it to build a competing product;
- upload malware, or interfere with anyone else’s use.
Accounts breaking these may be suspended, with notice where circumstances allow.
10. Platform rules
Your use of connected platforms is also governed by their terms — Meta’s Platform Terms and Advertising Policies, and Google’s Ads API Terms and Advertising Policies. Where they conflict with these terms in respect of platform data, theirs prevail. A platform withdrawing access can stop features working here, and that is outside our control.
11. Ownership
Botmust, its code, design and content belong to [your registered company name]. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is in good standing. Your data, your ad creative and your business information remain yours.
Feedback you send may be used to improve the product without obligation or payment.
12. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, [your registered company name] excludes implied warranties and is not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost advertising spend, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss.
Total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid for the service in that period.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
13. Ending the agreement
- You may stop at any time by cancelling and deleting your account.
- We may suspend or end an account for a material breach of these terms, or if required by law or by a platform. Where circumstances allow, you will be given notice and a chance to put it right.
- On termination, access ends and data is deleted in line with the privacy policy. Export first if you want a copy.
- Clauses 5, 6, 11, 12 and 14 survive termination.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [your country of registration], and the courts there have jurisdiction — without affecting any right you have as a consumer to bring proceedings where you live.
If a clause is found unenforceable, the rest stands. Failing to enforce a clause is not a waiver of it.
Material changes to these terms are notified at least 30 days ahead. Continuing to use the service after that means accepting them.
