WhatsApp for clinics and wellness centres
Let patients book in the chat, answer “Are you open on Sunday?” automatically and give your front desk one shared inbox instead of a busy phone.
Why clinics use WhatsApp
Patients message clinics on WhatsApp to ask about timings, doctors, prices and appointments, and they expect a reply sooner than a call back. When those messages sit on one front-desk phone, they get missed during busy hours.
Botmust gives your front desk a shared inbox on an official WhatsApp Business API number, booking links for appointments and an AI agent for routine questions. It handles scheduling and general questions; clinical records stay in your clinical systems.
Let patients book appointments in the chat
Send a booking link and the patient picks a free slot. Booking links follow each practitioner’s working hours, add buffers between appointments, use your time zone, and can let the patient choose a doctor or therapist or share bookings among your team in turn. Video consultations can run on Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams, and every appointment appears in the Botmust calendar.
Answer routine questions automatically
Give BotMust AI your clinic’s general information: timings, address, doctors and their days, services, prices and what to bring. It answers those questions at any hour and passes the chat to the front desk when the patient asks for a person or describes a medical concern. It doesn’t give medical advice.
| Patient message | What Botmust does |
|---|---|
| “Are you open on Sunday?” | BotMust AI answers from your clinic information |
| “I want to book with Dr. Rao” | Sends a booking link with that doctor’s free slots |
| “How much is a dental cleaning?” | Answers from your price list, or hands over to the front desk |
| A symptom or medical question | Hands the chat to your team instead of answering |
One inbox for the whole front desk
Every receptionist works the same WhatsApp number from their own login. Assign chats, set priorities and see which patients are waiting. Roles limit what each person can see. Instagram and Facebook messages can come into the same inbox.
Send updates to patients who opted in
Use broadcasts for timing changes, holiday closures, new services or health camps, sent to patients who agreed to receive them. Keep diagnoses, test results and other clinical details out of marketing messages.
Privacy and good practice
Collect each patient’s consent before you message them, honour opt-outs, and share only what a chat needs. Botmust records consent and opt-outs on each contact. Check WhatsApp’s Business and Commerce policies too: some health products can’t be promoted on WhatsApp.
Common questions
Is Botmust a medical records system?
No. Botmust is for conversations, scheduling and general questions. Keep diagnoses, prescriptions and test results in your clinical software.
Can patients choose their doctor?
Yes. A booking link can let the patient pick a doctor or therapist, or share appointments across your team in turn.
Can several branches use Botmust?
Yes. Connect a number for each branch within your plan’s channel limit, or create a separate workspace for each branch.
